Getting Started

OrionFit is an Android fitness app: place your phone, and on-device AI detects your body pose, counts your reps as you move, and scores your form after each workout (with posture checks for squats and push-ups). It also includes an AI coach for training advice, meal photo calorie estimates, and a Health tab for meals, body stats and goals. Personal trainers can use the Trainer plan to follow the progress of students who link with them. OrionFit is made by an independent developer in Japan; see About.
About 120 exercises with step-by-step guides: squats, push-ups, lunges, bench press, deadlifts, shoulder press, curls, lat pulldowns and more. A few exercises with tiny movements, such as calf raises, are counted but not scored. You can also create custom exercises for the elbow, shoulder, knee or hip by setting your own angle thresholds, or follow multi-week training programs.
Core training — pose detection, rep counting, form scores, local history — works without an account. Signing in (Google or email) is required for the AI coach, meal photo analysis, cloud history sync, and linking with a trainer.

AI Coach & Meal Analysis

The AI coach analyzes your actual workout data — form scores, rep-by-rep motion, long-term trends — and gives specific advice. It can also look at your goals, meals, and weight history to propose realistic training plans, and you can chat with it to dig deeper.
Take or pick a photo of your meal and the AI identifies each food item and estimates calories, protein, fat, and carbs. The results are saved to your meal log on the device. Estimates are approximations — treat them as a guide, not a medical measurement.
Free: 2 AI coach chats and 2 meal photo analyses per day. For the first 7 days after you create an account, you get Pro-level limits. When you reach a free limit, you can choose to watch a short video to get one more use (up to 3 extra per feature per day). Pro and Trainer: 30 chats and 20 photo analyses per day. Limits reset at midnight in your time zone.

Features

Every training feature — analytics, session recording, video analysis, CSV export, cloud sync, weight tracking, the Health tab — is free for everyone. The free version shows ads and has daily AI limits of 2 chats and 2 meal analyses. Pro (US$3.99/month; Google Play shows your local price) removes ads and raises the limits to 30 chats and 20 photos a day. Trainer includes everything in Pro and lets coaches follow their students' progress. See Pricing.
You can load any workout video from your phone and analyze it with the same AI tracking engine used in live training. Adjust playback speed, view skeleton overlay, and review joint angles.
Three things: Meals (calorie ring and protein/fat/carb bars against your daily targets), Body (weight and body fat history), and Goals (target weight, waist, body fat, and per-exercise targets). Daily calorie targets are calculated from your profile and goal pace.

Ads

Ads keep every training feature free. OrionFit uses Google AdMob to show them.
A banner at the bottom of the main screens, and occasionally a full-screen ad after you finish a workout. Ads never appear while the camera is tracking your workout. You can also choose to watch a short video to get one more AI use when you reach a daily limit.
Subscribe to Pro or Trainer. Students linked to a trainer with an active Trainer plan also see no ads while they are linked.
No. Workout records, form scores, body data, meals, goals, Health Connect data and AI chats are never sent to ad networks or used to target ads. AdMob uses device information such as your advertising ID — see the Privacy Policy.
In some US states, OrionFit shows the choices required by state law, and you can change them later from the ad privacy options in Settings. Everywhere, you can reset or delete your advertising ID, or turn off ad personalization, in Android Settings → Google → Ads. In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland the app shows no ads at all.

Trainers & Data Sharing

A subscription for personal trainers and coaches. Invite students with a code, QR code or link, and view the progress they choose to share. It includes everything in Pro and costs from ¥1,480 / US$9.99 per month for 10 students. See For Trainers.
Open the invite link from your trainer, or sign in and go to Settings → Trainer ("Connect with a trainer") to enter the 8-character code. Before linking, you see exactly what will be shared, confirm that you are 18 or older, and choose whether to share live progress and weight/goals.
Summaries of up to 20 recent workouts from the last 30 days (including ones from before you linked): exercise, reps, sets, weights and form scores, and when you trained. Live set progress and your weight/body-fat trend and goals only if you turn them on. Your trainer never sees camera video, meals, AI chats, workout notes or your email address.
Go to Settings → Trainer → My trainer. You can turn the optional sharing off, or unlink at any time. When you unlink, your trainer immediately loses access to all of your data, including past records.
No. Students use OrionFit for free and see no ads while they are linked. Your AI limits stay at the free level.

Privacy & Data

Training camera footage never leaves your phone — pose detection runs 100% on-device, and frames are processed in real time without being stored. The one exception is the meal analysis feature: when you explicitly run it, that meal photo is sent to the AI for nutrition estimation and is not stored on our servers. See the Privacy Policy for details.
Only when you request advice: the workout summary in question (scores, reps, sets), your chat messages, and — for goal advice — the body stats, nutrition summary, and weight history you've logged. The data is used to generate the response and is not stored on our servers or used for advertising.
Yes. With Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics we collect app usage events and crash reports to fix bugs and improve the app. They are linked to an identifier for your app installation, so they are not anonymous, but they never include your name, email address, body measurements, form scores or messages. You can turn this off in Settings. In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland nothing is collected.
Yes. Go to Settings → Account → "Delete Account" at the bottom. This permanently removes your account, cloud workout history, badges, AI usage records, subscription data and trainer linking data, and ends any trainer link. It does not cancel a Google Play subscription, so cancel that first. Without the app, you can ask us by email. See the Account Deletion page.
Yes. In the Account screen, tap "Export My Data" to download your workout history, profile, subscription and trainer linking data in JSON format. You can also export individual session motion data as CSV.

Europe (EEA, UK, Switzerland)

There, OrionFit works on your device only: rep counting, form scores, posture checks, history, meals and body records all work, and your data stays on your phone (and in Health Connect if you allow it). Sign-in, cloud sync, the AI coach and meal photo analysis, ads, Pro, the Trainer plan and push notifications are not available, and we receive no data from the app. If you created an account before, the app asks you once whether to delete your cloud data. See the Privacy Policy.

Badges & Mini-Games

OrionFit tracks your workout count, consecutive day streaks, and menus created. You earn badges at 10 milestone levels in each category (30 total). Badges are awarded automatically based on your activity.
Yes — when you're signed in, earned badges are backed up to your account and restored when you sign in on a new device. Without an account, badges are stored locally and re-calculated from your workout history if you reinstall.
Mini-Games are pose-controlled games that use the camera to follow your body movements, for example as a warm-up. Your best scores are shown on the menu.

Subscription

Open Google Play Store → tap your profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → OrionFit. Cancel before your renewal date to stop the next charge; you keep your plan until the end of the current billing period. Moving to a lower plan (for example, Trainer to Pro) takes effect at your next renewal.
The higher AI limits apply when you are signed in to OrionFit with the account that holds the subscription, so please sign in after subscribing. Ads are removed as soon as Google Play confirms your subscription.
